Pediatric Seasonal Flu Vaccine Update: 12/8/2011

Pediatric flu vaccines are now available.  Flu vaccines are recommended for ALL children ages 6 months and older.  We offer both the injection and the nasal vaccine.  Both vaccines are preservative/thimerosol free.  Please call the pediatric office at 650-498-7489 to make appointment for a weekday visit.   The pediatric department will not be holding a drop in flu clinic for the month of December.  We will be having a flu clinic on December 17th by appointment only. Please call 650-498-7489 to schedule an appointment

A screening questionnaire/consent will need to be filled out to determine any contraindications for receiving the flu vaccine.  Any child with severe egg allergies will need to receive their vaccine through the allergy department.   If you have any questions regarding the flu vaccines and you wish to speak to one of the nurses, please contact the pediatric office at 650-498-7489
